What does your status checker say? Does it say "under review" or "decision made"? When did you submit/finish the application?

to everyone: just fyi (from the "what to expect when you're expecting" thread), gtown sends decisions by snail mail, but you can also check the admitted students' website by clicking "no password" and putting in your information. it should allow you to make an account if you've already been admitted.

Thanks everyone! Does anybody know about scholarships (back to my original q? haha)? My status checker just says Application Completed.

I'm getting a bunch of PMs so Ill just put it out, I'm not a URM or ED, no WE, 168/3.9, and I applied about a month ago (a little less), i do have some good softs so maybe that helped. Finally, I never was asked to interview.

Feel free to PM me but this might answer a few of the quick questions.
Oh and if I didn't ask already, scholarship info?

Also, no the admitted students web thing doesnt work for me yet

thanks for answering questions! as far as scholarships, you might want to go read through the c/o 2017 georgetown applicants thread to get an idea (it's linked in the OP). I'll probably do it later today to check on timelines and stuff, but I don't know off the top of my head.

On your scholarship question, I don't believe that Georgetown sends out any sort of packages until you complete the FAFSA, Need Access, and the Georgetown Yellow application. This is the process required to receive any sort of grant or need-based aid. See here: http://www.law.georgetown.edu/admission ... New-JD.cfm. I hope that helps!

Congrats! Anxiously waiting myself, we'll see if it arrives shortly. In upstate NY, so it usually takes an extra day or so to get mail. Here's hoping for good news by the end of the week.

well the person who got accepted said it didn't work for them, so I wouldn't say it's worth trying at this point (though it won't hurt, so whatever). maybe later in the cycle.
