That's what the letter always said. Stop freaking out, all. It sucks that the one kid who has a 174 3.high got in when he already has money at CLS (no offense, but you've already got some great options, and a lot of us don't)- but lets keep on hopin' y'all. We're in it for the long hall.Luchi91 wrote:I'd email them or waitSlimz89 wrote:Just looked at the old decision letter that said held. It said you have until April 2 to reply that you'd like to be placed on hold. Just looked now and it said you have till may 9th. I am confused.
I am not crazy, because I have the original one downloaded.
What to do??

I sure hope not, for the sake of my sanity...and apparently according to lawschoolnumbers and this thread, only 3 people got accepted, so I'm hoping they're going to release more than that...

One won't know the chances of getting off the WL. But someone did a breakdown of waitlist acceptances and it looks like they didn't start accepting people off the WL until June all the way to July 26th.
Does WL acceptances still count in Northwestern's numbers and medians? If it does not, then that's probably the reason they'll waitlist splitters now and accept them later.

It's possible that they wanted to "test" my commitment. By holding me they are giving me the option to drop out.

Not likely. I'm waiting to see what the money offer will be. If it's substantive, I may have to think it through.Luchi91 wrote: You going to choose NU?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
