what affect do you guys think that having a new dean after June will have on UF's quality of education, job stats, and rankings? I am hoping that the schools changes in positive ways and hopefully becomes harder to get into in the future.

Accepted via snail mail today (2/6)!!! No word on scholarship information but the letter says that Merit-Based Scholarships are awarded through March 2014 and that recipients will be notified by mail.

Glad I'm not the only one. Also, should have noted that I was accepted in early/mid December, not January. Going on 2 months now.

From my experience and observations, UF gives very little merit aid to in-state applicants unless you're at/above the 75% mark for LSAT and GPA.

In via snail mail! Everyone around here refers to UF as the "Harvard of the South", so I was excited when I saw the large white envelope in my box. Hopefully scholly info comes in soon.

here is a way to check if you are admitted before they even send your letter:

apply for their housing forum for admitted students. if they approve your application ... you got in! if they didn't... maybe you were wait listed and you should wait on your mailing

EDIT... just checked my mailbox. got a stupid letter from the stupid Asian and Pacific American law Association. thought it was gonna be scholly info so i started freaking out until I opened it FML

You get your UFID number from the help desk. You must call to get this number.

Also, this is a quick way to check if you are admitted (once your status checker says decision reached, notice issued). If they have you on file and you have a UFID, you're in.
