@ylsadmissions Some people won't have to wait until tonight's Mega Millions drawing to beat the odds. First admit calls of the season tonight!

Even with no shot of getting in, this just makes me feel sick.

Um wait, so Y has started reviewing applications yet? I thought there was no advantage to applying early?

Of course they have started reviewing applications (they consitently release their first round of decisons before Christmas) but unless you think hearing early is an advantage, there isn't any advantage for early applicants.

I haven't applied to YLS yet. Having said that, has nobody from TLS gotten in, or have they not called anyone yet? I doubt they'd be calling people at midnight, lol

They called people on the west coast as late as 1 AM last year and emails as late as 3:40 AM for foreign students (all times Eastern).

I had too much time on my hands last week and read the whole c/o 2016 thread. As they said last year, Asha keeps funny hours.

Hahaha I have less than no chance of getting in here but I am flattered.

Yes, they called later last year but that was when they had "bigger" waves. The first wave is usually really small.
