I was surprised, and a little disappointed that I first found out by text. I checked my email and stuff to see if I overlooked something, but this is definitely my first source of the news since they haven't updated the status check page. Oh we'll, still happy I am in

In as well. When I first saw the number I thought it was spam or something. "Congrats you've won a TV"
No, law school admittance text lol.

So....another day without going into review. I don't get it. My stats should ensure that I get into Davis. When is the latest that they release decisions? I'm starting to get really anxious about Davis and my other early January submissions. Some of them I've been UR since the beginning of January with no word since.

Deposit deadlines aren't until Mid April so there's still time.

Hoping to get some movement today. complete 1/11, and its a monday, which seems to be status update day for most law schools.

Has anyone else received an email from the Financial Aid Office telling them how much grant aid they qualified for?

it could be worse - you could be on the east coast waiting until 9pmEST every day! I'm tired of that.
and of course - still on awaiting evaluation. WTF.

Yeah I just noticed this also, and it is seriously bothering me. I mean, Fordham is the typical punchline to every bad law school joke, and now Davis is ranked the same.

Yup. It seems like schools in the saturated markets have dropped and those in the smaller towns have done better.

Oh, maybe it was. But the 9 spot drop just confirms TLS's disdain for it and my ire at Davis being ranked the same. It also says something about my attention to detail, but that's a problem for another day.

Lower tuition + same job prospects > Higher tuition + worse job prospects
Davis at ~45k is egregious.

And they're ridiculously stingy. How do they expect to improve without paying for some good numbered applicants? Ah well. I just love this city so much I am grasping for excuses to stay.
