Don't worry about it. Mine's checked as well even though I've never studied abroad.

Does anyone know whether the status dates update/change, like they do at NYU and Georgetown, as applications are being moved through the applicant pile?

Mine still says, "Your application has been submitted for review" for about 2.5 months here. It doesn't sound horrible...unless everyone else's is updating...?

Hey guys--thinking of applying to Stanford, but I'm wondering whether anyone here knows if they provide institutional loans as part of their financial aid to International students the way that Harvard and Yale do. I wouldn't be able to attend otherwise, so I'm holding off on applying before I know for sure. I've looked all over their website and on the PDF they have breaking down their policies and can't seem to find anything. Was planning on calling Monday, but figured maybe someone knew. Thanks!

I can't provide you with a direct link as I am on my phone and a bit in a hurry but I checked in details for this information last year and I am PRETTY SURE (let's say 99%, just in case it might have changed or my memory might be wrong!) that Stanford law school do have a program similar to Y and H for international students. I'll try to get back to you on this when I'll be on my laptop!

Mine's been like that since the end of October. Not quite 2.5 months, but it sucks. I feel like status date changes give us something to do while waiting

It's not need-based, but maybe it could be military service based? I have a hard time believing that could be the case, considering I never submitted anything to them asking if they offered fee waivers for my service. It's all very confusing.

When I initially applied, my study abroad option was not checked and my file was listed as incomplete even though everything had been turned in. I emailed them and informed them that I would not have a study abroad transcript and they emailed me back almost immediately and told me that it was fixed and my file was not complete. So evidently it has to be checked.

Any insight as to the day when decisions will be released this week? My guess is Wednesday, but there's really nothing to support that.

Hey all, just checking in....LSN doesn't have any acceptances yet.....haven't seen any here also. My guess is they are waiting till after jan 1 like columbia and Yale.....it is like watching paint dry.....its kill meeeeeeeee..

There's nothing indicating that SLS will wait to give out decisions after the new year. If past cycles are any indication, we should be seeing some acceptances later this week. The admissions blog also tends to post around this time indicating when decisions will be going out. If they'd chosen to postpone acceptances, I'm sure we'd get an update.

ETA: Yale also doesn't wait until after the new year. So the above post is completely off base.

Yale has already let in a handful of people in. I'm guessing Stanford (hopefully) starts later this week.

The day isn't over... You definitely could see some Palo Alto love today and if you visit the man in the alley, you may be able to see some unicorns while you're at it!
