Same thing here. I applied more than 3 weeks ago... Is it normal to be still pending?jcan91 wrote:Status checker seems to be back up now. Completion still pending...

Re: Columbia c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Application complete as of today. I applied ED but submitted a few minutes past the deadline. I wrote them to confirm that my app would still be considered under the ED plan and they confirmed that it would. This is definitely a reach for me, with LSAT > median, and GPA < 25%... My recs, personal statement, and other application components are all very strong. Crossing my fingers! Best wishes to all those who are waiting.

checking in! sent in my app today, I'm definitely in auto-ding territory but I got a CRS waiver so I figured the $21 donation to LSAC was worth it. you miss every shot you never take right?

I sent in materials on October 31st and got an email the next day saying "We are excited to report to you that we have received all the required components of your application and that your file is now complete." However, I never received any kind of status checker email or notification. Should I have received one anyway?

"Completion pending" since almost a month. Should I contact them or keep waiting? I don't want to annoy them if it's something normal..

How long does it take to receive an email from Columbia saying they received your application? I sent everything in last Saturday (a week ago), and they're the only school I haven't heard anything from.

Re: Columbia c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
I just got an email saying my application went complete, too.
The reason this worries me is that while I had wanted to go ED, one letter of rec did not come in until two days after the 11/15 deadline... the office said two days would be okay, however, when I called. I'm worried that it went "complete" this late, however. Maybe I'll call Monday if they're not open tomorrow...

Yeah, do you know this forsure? 'Cause last year seemed to happen around Dec. 5 and the year before ~Dec. 1st... if we're talking about ED decisions.vertex wrote:Tomorrow's the big day, everyone hold on to your hats!
