Got the call at 3:28 this afternoon. Dean Post was extremely kind and said she couldn't wait to meet me. She mentioned the Preview Day in mid-April.

I haven't been doing much posting because of my nerves lol but congrats! I feel like I've been following along with all of you.

Thanks everyone. You can see my numbers in my profile. This admissions thing is a roller coaster, and I feel VERY lucky to have gotten in.

In the interest of full disclosure, I will be posting my personal statement, optional essay, and letter of continuing interest. I'm doing this because I really believe that despite my lower numbers (and the allowance they are granted because of my URM status), I was successful in communicating what I would bring to Penn both as a student and as a human being. I feel that someone in the admissions committee connected with something in my application and that was why I was admitted.

I don't assume that everyone will be interested, or accept this gesture in the spirit it is intended; this is merely to satisfy any curiosity anyone might feel. Again, thanks for the support, and best of luck in ALL your future endeavors.
