Nope, but I went complete 1/19. Maybe that's kind of late. I also didn't hear anything back from the admissions office when I asked a question. Boo cricket noises.

How long after you guys submitted your application did it take to receive an email with log-in and password information to check your status on the school's site?

I got my status checker the day after. Sent 1/4, status checker 1/5.

Nope, but I went complete 1/19. Maybe that's kind of late. I also didn't hear anything back from the admissions office when I asked a question. Boo cricket noises.

I applied PT and went complete 1/26. I sent in my app. January 17. I think they didn't start accepting people until late Feb/early March for the PT program last cycle. I also think one or two people made it into the PT program off of a WL.

I only know of three people doing PT on this board, as of yet. You, Fashiongirl and myself. Good luck to us all!

Went complete way back on 11/30/11 for FT. Still waiting to hear anything. This is maddening.

Congrats on everyone who got in. If I do hear back soon and get accepted I will definitely be going to visit if they still have a visitor day by then.

I'm leaning very heavily toward PT. I don't want to completely stop working and even though I'm hiring someone to fill my void, I'd rather keep my expenses down and retain as much income as possible. What is the difference in cost between PT and FT?

It should be sent when you apply, but I never received one either...maybe they have email problems. I had to call and request the information from the admissions office and they were able to send it to me right away!

When you applied, did you click only the PT option?

Yes. I indicated that I would accept PT if that's all they could offer me.

Edit: Wait, no I did not select only PT. I applied FT, while being open to PT. Although I'm now beginning to think PT may actually be a better option for me.

For anyone considering switching from FT to PT or PT to FT after your 1st year, I think they are pretty good with letting you switch. I went on a tour and the 1L told me a lot of the law students there do that.

I'm pretty sure most people switch from PT ---> FT not the other way around.

Ahhh! Good luck mkat! Finally some movement on the PT front.

Pleasye - The 1L at USD mentioned that some 2Ls like to switch to PT so they can work during the semester. I think it's great that they are flexible though!
