I have never received any email confirmation that my file went complete. Residence - CA
Congrats!! I think it's safe to assume then that I am in as well!

So who's all committed? Or is it too early for that yet?

I called this morning and the guy told me flat out that if you got that email "This time next year" you have been accepted... so there you go. No assumptions necessary anymore.
I think its a tad early do actually commit. But I am going for sure

I feel the same way... it's not real until I see an official admissions letter! I've been checking myUM obsessively all day - still nothing for me either. If I ever get (officially) admitted, I am almost certain I will be at Miami in the fall, it's one of my top choices. Here's to hoping this is my LAST winter in the northeast!!!!

Congrats! Was the weird message in your status checker you are referring to the "go to LSAC website to see a list of documents needed" or something close to that? I still have that, wonder if I should give them a call as well..

Hey! For all of you future Miami Scholars, did you get an invitation for the Scholarship weekend in Feb.?
I think I read something about that on their website but wasn't exactly sure how it worked out... if I remember correctly, all Miami Scholars recipient + other scholarships recipient were to travel to Miami "at school expense". But if I'm correct the website referred to last year's edition so I wasn't sure if they were still doing it this year.

For those of you with fee waivers, did the waiver appear on the LSAC website? It didn't for me, and when I called the school, they told me I should select "will mail application fee to school" and that they will just know not to charge me. Now my application seems to be lost in oblivion.

Oh thats annoying I wish I would have known! I paid the fee but most certainly would have gotten a waiver with my numbers... I was wondering why I didnt had one!

Am I the only one that called and told them they sent it to the wrong email? I thought I was being helpful... the lady from the student recruitment office seemed suprised when I told her.

It was a mistake in their coding. Whoever wrote it put the name Kaitlyn instead of the code that would grab the applicants name from the database. And I guess youre the person that notified them of the mistake. Whoever Kaitlyn is, I would guess her name is the first one listed in their email list. Prob a last name that starts at the very beginning of the alphabet.

I mean, she is a superstar. We all accidentally got the email meant specifically for her.
....this reminds me of the time I received prom dress catalogs during my senior year of high school. My first name is Mark....they were all addressed to Mary.
