I was reading the Maryland thread from 2 or 3 years ago and it took about 4 days for them to get their letters in the mail after their status changed to "decision made."

If you were waitlisted with your numbers, then I will almost certainly be rejected for the part-time program. I didn't receive any waitlist email and the chances that I will be accepted are slim, so rejection it is.LawStudent89 wrote:Waitlisted as well.perfectlylegal wrote:waitlisted :/
However Cardozo ft waitlisted me so I have a tiny sliver of hope...

It actually took about 5 days, depending upon their location. You can look at the thread here: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 9&start=50.tonymontana45 wrote:How far away do you live? When did you go under review? I applied 1/8 and just went under review yesterdaytonymontana45 wrote:Decision made today. I applied the first week of January. I'm nervous. How long did it usually take?

Maryland is my #1 choice and I was waitlisted last year but re-applied this year with an 8 point increase in my LSAT score... so I'm hoping it's good news this time around.

chickenfed wrote:If one instance that the Environmental Clinic is involved in can change your mind about your first choice, then I think you should rethink your choices. Not only are you being overly presumptuous by speaking as if you are somehow involved, but I am fairly certain you don't have all of the facts. Either way, the clinic must have a reason to be involved with the law suit. Just my two cents.Dead Parrot wrote:No my application was marked recieved 1/10, and still hasn't gone under review. Maryland is my top choice, but this issue has brought up some questions.LawStudent89 wrote:Does that mean you got accepted?Dead Parrot wrote:For any current students who would be able to answer this:
I'm from the eastern shore and I grew up on chicken farms so I have a different view point than many on what is going on with the environmental clinic's law suit. I don't object to their protecting the bay, it should obviously be protected, but I strongly disagree with them siding with a multi-million dollar nonprofit organization when the defendants, a single farm family (read not greedy corportation) barely make enough money to put food on the table when they don't have huge legal fees. So my question is: since the environmental clinic seams to be a big deal around campus, will I be pretty much alone on the other side of this issue, or is there other objectors as well?
Looks like Delegate McDonough was reading this thread and put up a bill in the House of Delegates to enjoin this (and other) law clinic activity: http://mlis.state.md.us/2012RS/billfile/HB0751.htm

Anyone called Admissions for an official response as to when we'll receive our decisions in the mail?

Waitlisted as well. 161/3.52 GPA, what was everyone else's numbers?
Also, any slim chance that one could be accepted with a scholarship offer after being waitlisted?
