Re: Seattle University c/o 2015
As for the friday decisions we had a pretty "bad"(for western WA) snow storm last week and im pretty sure the school was closed so these decisions are probably ones that would have gone out last week.

People that got accepted today, would you mind sharing when you applied and for what semester? I applied mid Nov. for summer start...and still haven't heard anything.

Don't be too worried about this. I applied on 10/1 and got a decision on 12/22. You're 6-7 weeks behind me.RaleighStClair wrote:People that got accepted today, would you mind sharing when you applied and for what semester? I applied mid Nov. for summer start...and still haven't heard anything.

I applied right before Thanksgiving and was accepted on 1/13. I'd start in the summer as I'm doing the PT programRaleighStClair wrote:People that got accepted today, would you mind sharing when you applied and for what semester? It's all a crap shoot. Trying to predict when you'll get your letter/email/phone call is not worth the hassle.

Quite possibly. I RSVP'd yes, but it'll depend a bit on work.Deadlights13 wrote:Is anyone planning on attending the Alumni luncheon on 15 February?
ETA: if I do, I'm sure I (and you all) will be looking around the room trying to pick out the TLS'ers.

Absolutely. We should all wear a top secret signature item. Or come dressed as our avatar. Now that would make it fun!akakak wrote:ETA: if I do, I'm sure I (and you all) will be looking around the room trying to pick out the TLS'ers.

Unsure how I, as a woman, will pass for Ron Swanson. Think the partners would judge me if I showed up with a fake 'stache?akakak wrote:Absolutely. We should all wear a top secret signature item. ETA: took out my age range.

I think I might aim for memorability based on my personality and resume instead...
But if that doesn't work, I'll bust it out for OCI.

It's a meet-and-greet with some members of a divorce/"meretricious relationships*" law firm, many of whom went to SU. It's scheduled, appropriately enough, for the day after Valentine's Day.atcushman wrote:What is the luncheon I think i deleted the info along with the 500 junk law school emails I get a day
*My Classics major background requires me to tell you that a "meretrix" in Rome was a state-registered prostitute. Meretricious relationships in Washington are relationships in which the couple lives together, but are not married (i.e., registered with the state). This has been driving me nuts the past few days.
Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.
