Basically I will be shocked if I get in. Have you gone under review yet? I applied the Weds before Thanksgiving, went complete immediately, and went under review 12/5.

Yes, under review. I went back and checked my LSN and actually applied 10/25. So I'm worried/confused it's taking them this long.

If you look at last year's thread, the rejections and holds came out first with acceptances following in the days after. So I think this year is unpredictable using historic timetables, but last year "decision rendered' was used for acceptances, rejections and waitlists.

Judging by the trend so far I'm guessing acceptances go out via email and rejections and/or waitlists go out by snail mail. I wonder if we can go so far to assume as acceptances are sent out Tuesdays and rejections/waitlists Wednesdays...some schools do it that way and it's really handy to know that in advance. Takes out all the guesswork that we're attempting to do right now!

I think BC does holds in addition to waitlists, where they just wait to review your file overall. Maybe that's what they're doing to you? Although I think they usually tell you when they do that so you aren't growing worried by the days, kinda like you are now...

Ah, nifty, so people would get rejections in the physical mailbox around the same time people got acceptances in their email? BC really likes to torture their applicants.

No these were acceptances as well, they just didn't get their emails until that Tuesday I believe.

if I recall correctly, BC Law allowed us to list our SAT scores on the application...since they asked, i'm sure this bears at least some weight on decision making (particularly if you're claiming a poor history of standardized test taking)....right?

Mine was changed 12/14, but basically yea.

For everyone, hope you guys enjoy your Holidays! TRY not to worry too much about this. If anything, most schools will start packing their own bags for the holidays, so you should too!

I applied late October and only went under review yesterday (12/16). I've been complete since the first week of November, so it wasn't that they were waiting for something. I wouldn't worry about it, though!

Yeah, I'm still under review from 11/22. I wouldn't worry about it, I'm sure there are just a bunch of people before us. Hopefully we'll be UR sometime soon, though!
