If this is a fail by my post office, it's a small wonder the postal service is going under.

So checking out all the earlier angst, it looks like Duke tends to take the full 10 days for PT apps?

I submitted on 9/30 but have heart palpitations whenever I get an e-mail notification.

I'm interested too. I submitted 9/27, went complete 9/28, and under review 9/29. I feel like I've been under review so long!

Oh come on. It's not like you actually WANT to go there. You just want to get in so you know you don't have to dip below the T14 :)

(Ok I might have been talking about myself.)

I feel really bad for the one guy who didn't get in, and doesn't want to be the first to admit it.

It's okay, dude. We're all here for you.

Did anybody just include "why Duke" info in the PS? I felt like it made the most sense to just include information about why Duke is a good fit after I talked about why I wanted to go to law school, etc. at the end of the PS.

I haven't submitted my PT application yet but was wondering if any of those who have been admitted so far took the same approach?

I've done that for other schools with success (well at the one I've heard from thus far but it was rather immediate success). I think its fine as long as it flows. I didn't include anything in my Duke app though because I don't think they need to YP with PT.

Got in!

Anyone find it weird that the admitted student website has a common username/password?

From last year's threads. I think that's pretty common. Since the status checkers are not terribly informative, it seems a lot of people find out when they can log into the admitted students site using their name/password.

I didn't write a Why Duke; anyone believe I'm at risk of a YP?

I don't think Duke YPs. I have almost your exact stats, except a little higher GPA and I got in with no Duke and no optionals.

For people who received acceptance packages in the mail, did you officially accept the acceptance from them?

I was emailed about two weeks ago, and I still havent received anything.
