Because they gave me $$$ and I feel terrified of withdrawing from potential scholly negotiation opps/less LS debt. I think it's a weird psychological thing.UnamSanctam wrote:Any particular reason you haven't withdrawn from Minn or UIUC yet?

Re: Splitters unite! 2011-2012 Cycle
164/3.05...not the most severe of splitters, I know. Some schools have shown me absolutely no "splitter love", while others have been quite generous. For instance, rejected at Tulane, and wl'd at both Loyola-Chicago, and Wake Forest. I found it strange that I was rejected at Tulane, but offered a 78k scholly at their peer school, SMU. LUC wl'd me, while UIUC gave me a small scholarship. This has been a strange cycle, in some instances I am out performing my numbers, while in others I am getting shafted.

Re: Splitters unite! 2011-2012 Cycle
Hi guys! Been reading posts for months, finally started an account.
169 LSAT/3.0 GPA
3 years full time work, very strong softs. URM latino. Born in the US, lived in Canada since I was 10. Dual citizen. Not sure how that is going to affect things, if at all.
WL: UVA
Pending: CLS, GW, GULW, Vandy, Penn state, Michigan State, NU (interviewed), UI-B, WUSTL, Iowa, UMN, Notre Dame
I got all my apps in late January, everything has gone complete in the last 2 weeks. Hate the waiting game.
Good luck to all the splitters!

Lots of WL action here, hoping to get some love from some NY schools or Penn. I had hoped the 4.0 ugpa might make a difference, but it really looks like it hasn't.
