I'm just going to ask how far through the acceptance phase they are. Knowing that they've notified 90% of their acceptances via email would be very helpful, because I could have this one professor finish up a LOR, and I could begin my NYU PS. My hunch is that they won't tell me, or the person I get in touch with doesn't have access to that information, but it's worth a try.

Honestly, I'd get cracking on those right now. You don't know how ED will turn out, but you do know that submitting as early as possible can only help you.

It'll be easy to do the NYU PS, but it's the LOR from the prof that I want to get cracking on. He's really slow, but I'd feel bad asking him to do it while he's grading finals if he ultimately doesn't have to.

Edit: I don't mean I'm happy that you got deferred! Keep your chin up though..those are strong numbers and you will def. be getting into some good schools!

4:44, they ask you to update your transcripts after fall to show you are still interested and would like to be considered in April.

Not sure. My guess is that a few more might come out in the next few weeks? They aren't completely automatic. My email was 4:53. Earlier email said 4:44.

Sorry to hear that, bro. Those are really strong stats for ED. You're at/above median in both categories for RD. I'm sure you will get in some great law schools before it's all said and done, if not CLS via RD.
