Please tell me that is a typo!! How can they run a law school by admitting the bulk of students after seat deposits are due?

No typo, but in their defense - they didnt say they would admit the bulk of their students after April 1; they said that most of their decisions will be made by May 1. I hope they're trying to underpromise/overdeliver.
I probed on this a bit, indicating that I have some scholarship offers that have a reply-to date of April 1 and that I'd really like to consider ASU. All she said was to feel free to call back in a couple weeks if I want to see if a decision has been made yet.

I applied last cycle and they initially waitlisted me, then around the beginning of May the dean called to congratulate my acceptance with a 15 k scholarship. I asked for a deferrment so that's why I had to wait till this cycle. I already made other plans and it was hard for me to change so drastically. But, ASU totally is worth it for me~! Hang in there.

Did they defer the scholarship or just the acceptance?

Hi all, I'm a little late to the party but also still waiting on decision. I haven't seen it posted on this thread so i thought i would mention that i saw a second application deadline extension on their site (now march 10) Anyone know if this is normal to have 2 different extensions? Nothing major but at least something else to speculate on while in the purgatory that is the admissions cycle
Congrats btw to all who have gotten in and good luck to the rest of us still waiting to hear

There have been a lot of schools making extensions to app deadlines, and sending out late fee waivers.
Last cycle there was a record number of apps, but apps are down this year, so I bet they are just trying to keep their numbers up as much as possible.

Just the spot. I had to reapply to be reconsidered for scholarship. This time around only 10k. But, I'll gladly take it.

Received my ASU acceptance packet in the mail today (I'm OOS in WA). $50,000 scholarship, 30 for the first year and then 20 for the second, with no stipulations other than good standing. Personal factors included (tribal scholly and fiance lives/works in Tempe) I'm looking at very very little debt if I end up at ASU. It's getting pretty damn hard to make a decision.

Waiting to hear from ASU is really pushing me close to some deposit deadlines. Hopefully they release a huge batch of decisions next week (or better yet, today)

If it's any consolation, I am a 164 urm and have yet to hear from ASU. It shouldn't take them long to mail me something since I live down the street.
