Went complete 11/16...still no word. Some on LSN with similar complete dates have already received acceptances. Should I be worried?

I went complete 11/22 and still have no word--if that's any consolation.

I don't think it's any sign of worry - I got in yesterday after being frustrated for two straight months after going complete on 11/8. Their admissions office is just not as transparent as others but I wouldnt take it as a bad sign at all.

I might remember wrong, but seem to recall an interview with some Tulane admission officer which said that if you submit by mid november, you can expect a response by mid December. Harrumph. I guess in previous years they had a hard time estimaing the number of applicants who would accept their offer... This year they must have wanted to see what kind of applicant pool they got after the January LSAT.

Looks like no love from Tulane for me. Status updated to "Decision has been made", but it just says "Decision letter" under Mailings, not acceptance packet. Ouch.

+1. I called admissions to see what it all means, and they said that it just means it's moving through the admissions committee. Don't read too much in to it.

I'm still complete 10/13. Hate waiting but was never intending to go to Tulane anyway so it doesn't matter too much.

So for everyone who has a decision, how long did it take from the second complete date until your status went to decision rendered? I was complete 12/9, now complete 1/20.

I was complete 11/15 now complete 15/01 and still waiting ....

I only had one complete date. Was complete since 10/1

Well got my packet today. 25K per year. Not quite enough for me to go, but at least I have an awesome tote bag now! Will be withdrawing, best of luck to everyone else.

I received an email stating that I was accepted last week telling me I would be receiving an acceptance package in the mail. It came in a tote bag (inside out, with the straps and an admission packet on the inside) via USPS.

It also contains info about scholly and ASW. I got 20k per year provided I get above a 3.0 each year (which is under the median).

Anyone get more than that per year? Anyone get a scholarship without any strings attached?

If you have no intention of going you should really consider withdrawing your app. Just to be courteous. There are a lot of people who are anxiously waiting who probably are near as good the candidate as you!

Hah, just read this thread and went to check my mail. The tote bag/envelope dual thing is actually really creative. And it's an environmentally friendly (recycled material)!

I have the same scholarship too, and some extra stuff about keeping half of it even if you are under 3.0 for one year while you try to get back to a 3.0 to regain the scholarship. Sounds pretty reasonable.
