Been complete since 11/19.. no decision yet..

Probably because I couldn't get an interview scheduled until 12/10.. at least I hope that is why.

I plan on sending out that scholarship app here in the next couple of days. Vanderbilt is definitely my top choice so I hope they offer me some $$$.. because I can't make it without that.

So annoyed with FedEx right now! They tried to deliver a package from Vanderbilt yesterday but I was at work so I asked them if they could deliver it today instead but not between 10am and 11am since I had a doctors appointment. They said that was fine. And then what do they do.... they try to deliver it at quarter past 10!!! So now they say it'll have to wait until tomorrow

On the plus side I'm almost 100% sure it's an acceptance now since the failed delivery email they sent me said the package weighed 4.2lb.
Can't imagine a rejection would weigh that much (or be sent via FedEx for that matter)

I just wish I had the package now, very excited about the prospect of Vandy!

got my fedex last night!! mailed 12/20 received 12/21 with the acceptance letter and a full tree's worth of info! what a great start to the holiday season!

Congrats!
Managed to get FedEx to deliver mine to me today in the end (after a slightly irate phone call to customer service)
Been pouring over it all day. Loved that their first example of summer employment for 1Ls was the Irish Centre for Human Rights (I'm Irish)

No it's still the same.
I don't think there'll be any movement on it after decision mailed since they have spaces for each step in the process and decision mailed is the last

oh, sorry i meant decision mailed not decision delivered. did that information appear prior to receiving your package?

My Status Checker says:

Decision Mailed Date: 12/17/2010

Today is the 22nd so it probably arrived by now. However, it was mailed to my school address. I'm home for the next 2 weeks.

Does anyone know whether they would tell me the decision if I emailed or called them and asked?

Just ask them the size of the package. The acceptance package as one person pointed out was about 4.2lbs. I doubt they would open your mail because of a phone call.

Hey-I've been complete since 9/23. At this point, I'd almost be relieved to get a rejection. At least it's a decision.

Anyone know if all decisions are mailed FedEx or just acceptances?

As I said in an earlier post, my decision was mailed last Friday but I won't be home to receive the package for another 2-3 weeks. My apartment complex said there were no FedEx packages for me (I was going to ask them the size of the package haha). Then I called FedEx and they said there's nothing in the system with my address. Finally I tried calling Vanderbilt and got a voicemail. This has sort of become a scavenger hunt

Um....lol. I'm pretty sure they don't FedEx waitlists and rejections.

My impatience paid off...I called my apartment complex one more time to see if anything came in this morning. They said they have a FedEx package from Vanderbilt. I asked if it was big and was told "It looks like a book. It's probably 5 pounds."

Pretty sure I'm in!!!!
