Does anyone think that a rejection at GW is indicative of results from BC and BU? I'm in at Fordham, but between the three, I'd go with the money.
As much as we like to analyze the law school admissions process, it's still a huge mystery. You can find general trends, but who knows how many people (that you hear from on this site) were borderline dings, but were waitlisted because of personal statements, diversity factors, additional essays, letters of rec, etc etc. Or how many were borderline admits but had great softs. It's tough to tell.
I don't think a GW decision is indicative of how other schools will
interpret your application. That's the key. Interpretation.
Right, that makes sense, it's impossible to predict because you never know what other people have going for them. I do have very good softs though (2 years Teach for America, a Masters, public service heavy resume) so I was expecting a waitlist at worst. This whole process is so depressing because it really does come down to two numbers in most cases (or so it seems anyway).
Oh well, I'm crossing my fingers for BC/BU.

I'm guessing you might be referencing me. I am kind of a URM (Cuban) with softs, so that might give me a boost. I'm still confused whether Cuban is or is not a URM, so sometimes I don't specify.
Not referencing anyone in particular, just observations from this thread and law school by the numbers (and I certainly don't mean to knock anyone's accomplishments!). I actually think GPA and undergraduate institution should count more because it's a culmination of four years rather than 3 hours.

In at Cornell, out at GW? So weird to me...no use in trying to make sense out of this stuff lol. If I got accepted to Cornell I would flip out (Early Action and STILL have not heard).

Hey I applied to Cornell EA too, still no word, but I don't think there's a chance in hell I'll get in! I think my LSAT is just too low. If I do I'll move to Ithaca in a heartbeat!

Accepted a couple days ago. Still holding out some hopes for Duke, Michigan and Georgetown though. Nonetheless, I definitely can see myself at GW.

How soon is too soon to send addenda, or LOCI for GW? Wait until after the New Year, perhaps?

WL'd from the PT program yesterday... will consider writing a LOCI but sticker cost is going to be too much.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
