Re: IU Indianapolis Applicants' Thread
I applied February 28 and was accepted March 15. I got an email yesterday offering me a resident merit scholarship for $16k/year.
Looks like I"ll be putting down the $150 deposit Friday since I haven't heard back from IU-Bloomington yet.

Re: IU Indianapolis Applicants' Thread
Anybody know when we will know about financial aid? I filed my FAFSA a while ago but is there anything else we need to do? I am so rusty with all of this, doing it for undergrad seems like another lifetime!

I emailed the Office of Admissions earlier this week and they said financial aid packages would be posted to our Onestart accounts within the next two weeks.
I got my scholarship information about a month after being admitted as well.

Saw this while I was checking out the admitted students page today... "All award decisions have been made at this time."
Doesn't this kind of contradict what they said in the email?

Also, did anyone else fill out the scholarship application/know when those decisions will be made?

Did they send you an e-mail with your Onestart account information. I still have not received any information about mine.ascool wrote:I emailed the Office of Admissions earlier this week and they said financial aid packages would be posted to our Onestart accounts within the next two weeks.

According to twitter, the first round of financial aid packages went out today. Nothing on my Onestart, though.

From the website: "Awards may not appear on your Financial Aid Award Summary in OneStart, but will appear directly on your bursar statement as a credit."
On my OneStart account under my to do list it says "NSLDS Aggregate". Any idea what this is or where I can complete it? It is due by April 28th and has something to do with financial aid.

In case any of you were not already aware, our (future) law school dean is a "bad ass" according to Above the Law.

My financial aid is up. Looks like no private loans for me, between Federal Direct subsidized and unsubsidized plus waaaaay more in grad plus then I think I'll be needing!

Same here, my goodness. It scares me that the sub and unsubsidized seem to already be "accepted" for the full amount. Yowza! I don't need that much.Michaela wrote:My financial aid is up. My review date just changed to 4/22. Did this happen to anyone else? I've been complete since November...
