Anyone can call back later. True devotees drop everything to make sure they can answer the phone.puppins wrote:Then you seem like you are too good to just wait for your call like everyone else. Dang. Everyone accepted so far today is at or above lsat median so I shouldn't even worry about answering my phone. Too bad, I have a nice long acceptance speach planned which would delay the call for everyone after me.puppins wrote:Then you seem like you are too good to just wait for your call like everyone else. I wouldn't call; there's nothing to be gained. Just drink a beer, smoke a cigarette and try to relax.

I wasn't planning on calling; it was just a joke. However, that sound like good pieces of advice no matter the situationstrandm2 wrote:I wouldn't call; there's nothing to be gained. Just drink a beer, smoke a cigarette and try to relax.

Re: U Chicago 2010
after how long did calls stop going out last time?
it seems that almost two hours would have been sufficient for them to have called everyone. i am certainly not optimistic at this point

Look at it as a blessing in disguise. See your situation with Columbia ED for reference.talibkweli wrote:after how long did calls stop going out last time?

In DC, where predications call for nearly 30 in of snow over the next 24 hours. Since we normally get about 3-5 in all winter long, people are acting like the flood gates to hell have just opened and the world is coming to an end...which might not be that far off base...crackberry wrote:Where do you work?!dontstopbelivin wrote:You can call me Chicago, I'm literally just sitting here waiting next to the phone (of all the days to cancel work for a snowpocalypse, it had to be the one where I actually need some distraction!)

I am also in DC... I was trying not to stare at my phone... but i'm IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! totally, completely, 100% in shock. i am under 25% for lsat. over 75% for GPA, and 4 yrs of work experience so maybe that helped.

I was referring to the "cancel work" comment. I know about snow days for school, but I've never heard of businesses just shutting down for snow. It is true, though, that people in DC just can't handle the snow. It's pathetic.dontstopbelivin wrote:In DC, where predications call for nearly 30 in of snow over the next 24 hours. Yep, that's your federal tax dollars at work - most DC government offices closed early. Which I'm not complaining aboutcrackberry wrote:I was referring to the "cancel work" comment.
