I've never sounded so rude on the phone in my life-- I thought it was like some recruitment phone call and some children started wreaking havoc around me so I initially asked if I could call back later and she sounded rightfully very annoyed.
congrats!!

Thank you!!

No interview invite or acceptance. Still holding onto hope and trying not to go crazy.

The pressure for me to get into here has increased tenfold in the last hour as it seems much more likely that my Boyfriend will end up here for residency next year. Pls NYU start accepting 169s :( complete my five year dream

Still UR2 1/13. Maybe there's a pattern/hope for us yet!

I am in your same situation. Thinking in writing a Why NYU too. Although I am more than happy to attend UChicago.
Past cycles, NYU WLs were sent in March. So I am expecting either a ding/WL.

Is it considered acceptable to submit a Why NYU, even though they don't give you a space on the original application for it? Considering writing one right now to send in, but unsure of the protocol.

Same here UR2 11/28. I suspect we are WL, with a small chance we are accepted or rejected before March.

I don't think we're all WL...they've really made no decisions below or at their medians.

Just got an email from NYU financial aid... It almost killed me, but then I realized it was just about info sessions.

Pretty sure s/he just means invite to interview (assuming so since that's what I got this morning via email)
