No Book of Mormon? Adding Hairspray, Spamalot, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Producers, Bye Bye Birdie, Kiss Me Kate, and, yes, Beauty and the Beast. I don't care how Disney it is- I love it.

No! Just adding them as part of my "tell us your other favorites in thread!"

Though, let's be real, that poll would be just fine without "Fiddler on the Roof" or "Hello, Dolly".

And just wondering, but for someone who grew up on Les Mis, how is Phantom there but not LM?

I'm beginning to think that Harvard not releasing JS2s for a while is part of some sort of case study of law school applicants. The adcomm is trolling this thread all like, "Well, they all pushed to 100 pages for JS2s. Then they frantically, superstitiously changed their avatars to cats. Now they've resorted to analyzing musical theater...."

Maybe they think you guys will all come full circle to just patiently, silently waiting again?

Speaking of Sondheim, I watched a clip yesterday of the actor who plays Dolores Umbridge as Rose from Gypsy. Mind was blown.

I asked for suggestions and waited 24 hours. Only one person made a suggestion. Blame yourselves. If I keep hearing more bitching about my poll or poll choices I may take a leaf out of the Chicago and Columbia threads' book and disappear for 5 months with no new polls and without updating the OP.
We appreciate your great generosity in blessing us this day.

Please don't smite us oh great and powerful Hilde.

@hilde This may be hard for you to believe, but some of us can go 24 hours during the weekend without checking tls.

@sanibella I have no clue what that's a reference to, and I don't care :P

Little Shop of Horrors is my favorite musical hands down. I'm personally hurt that it's not on the poll.

I too am offended by this!

(I'm beginning to think I have to many favorites, anyways you guys all have great tastes!)

Anyone up for binge watching these together in law school?

I apologize DC :roll: :P My research for this poll was me googling "Greatest musicals of all time" and then consulting a list of the historically longest running productions. Next time I'll pick a boring poll that requires less work from me. :wink:

I'll probably still change the poll the next time JS2s go out, so in the mean time feel free to suggest other poll ideas.

Which TLSer are you most interested in meeting in real life/law school? Can't be just a list of names though, you need to give a real reason for each person (and I better be one of the choices 8) ).

How can your name be cantor with your obvious disdain for singing?
