Yeah with June and September included it would be about 140 less 169+ scores than last year.GreenTee wrote:Not even though, since the number of test takers overall is down.LawBron James wrote:Yeah, for those who are aiming for T14's, thats statistically only about 6 or 7 more applicants with competitive LSAT scores. Re: TLS c/o 2018 Applicants
Has anyone received a fee waiver for any of CCN based on December 2014 scores? I'm not sure if I should be waiting for an email or should just suck it up and drop the $$ to apply.

Thanks so much! I didn't realize there was a thread devoted entirely to this topic!hillz wrote:Not I (didn't take in Dec.) but it appears that some people have. edit: on a scale of makes sense to neurotic, how neurotic will I look if I send in a corrected version?

I'd say a bit neurotic... if 2 proofreaders missed them, maybe it's not too conspicuous? (or maybe they were not doing proper job proofreading)leslieknope wrote:submits 9 out of 15 apps

Awe! Sorry about that! I know that is horrible to find out. I keep thinking I did the same thing too. It's almost like you can never get it perfect!!leslieknope wrote:submits 9 out of 15 apps

Re: TLS c/o 2018 Applicants
Does anyone know the general habit of schools updating their status checkers? Asking because Michigan tweeted out that they update overnight. Are other schools consistent in this - i.e. if they will change on a day it is at a certain time?

Re: TLS c/o 2018 Applicants
It's frustrating but it depends on the school. Some schools (like Mich) are great in that it's always being updated. Others only have certain update dates (Penn, Chi), and others are pretty much useless after going complete (SLS)...nickhalden wrote:Does anyone know the general habit of schools updating their status checkers? This. There are no date changes even so it essentially useless until a final decision is madesmccgrey wrote:I totally don't get what's so great about Mich's SC? It just says complete, and the date. That's fair - I just like that whenever I check it, I know it's up-to-date, whereas other schools you don't really know if your application has changed since their last update. I also found out about my acceptance to Michigan through the status checker so maybe that's why I feel like it has use.

Re: TLS c/o 2018 Applicants
Good point, I didn't really think about that... I guess the constantly updating (automated) date changes are more psychological, but I still personally think it's better than others because so far it's the only status checker that has been of any use to me.

Anyone get an email or phone call with decision without anything changing on the SC?

Anywhere.. I'm just wondering if it happens in general. I'm the neurotic one who checks the SC constantly and am always sad when it hasn't changed. I was just wondering could I have an email or phone call without it having changed.

I also took comfort from knowing that I only had to check it once a day. For some reason I felt like I had more control over the process when I knew 1) that the status checker was up to date, and 2) I would definitely know the day (after) I received my decision.pylon wrote:That's fair - I just like that whenever I check it, I know it's up-to-date, whereas other schools you don't really know if your application has changed since their last update. None of this waiting for emails or letters or updates that happen randomly throughout the day.
