Has Stanford sent out big waves of acceptances or rejections in the past or is it usually just a few at a time? Apologies if this has already been mentioned...

I can recall some rejection wave that included 5ish people. I think acceptance waves tend to be even smaller. But i have a bad memory, so take with a grain of salt.
If you have time you can always read back this thread and last year's thread, or check LSN.

Yeah they've been very very small waves. However, I would imagine they are going to have to have a bigger wave of rejections coming soon.

Someone posted a rejection dated today on LSN (complete mid-January), but not sure if they maybe just received the snail mail rejection letter or if they actually went DLS today.

I was talking about this one, but they also updated it 18 hours ago to today's date-perhaps they can see the future.

Does Stanford typically have a large waitlist? Going by LSN almost no candidates with solid numbers (relative to SLS) have been rejected yet.

I went complete in November and still have heard nothing! My last update on the status checker was when my file was submitted for review also in November. Do you think they are just holding my application until the very end of the cycle?

Me too! Me too!
Likely relevant: Stanford hasn't waitlisted anyone yet.

I think what the lovely and very calm scoobers meant to say was that especially with Stanford, there are a ton of people who haven't heard anything. We don't really know what's happening with your application--the only thing to do now is wait.
