First ding of the cycle. Kind if expecting it though. Still, would have been nice. UR 1/25.

UR 1/25 as well...at least it was quick. This was the last app I submitted and the first one I hear from so it makes it harder to stand the silence from the rest of the schools I applied to.

Yeah man. I was there for a long time after Duke held me and no other school would give me the time of day. For literally 4 weeks or so it was total silence and then I got two acceptances before this ding so it's prob not as hard on me. Don't worry your acceptances are coming!

I know.I'll see how the cycle plays out but I'm prepared to reapply next cycle if I must. Thanks for the encouragement. Best of luck to you.

If I recall correctly, when I submitted my supplemental app, they indicated that the first batch should go out in the first week of March. Pretty standard.

Anyone know how soon before the 'deadline' for notifying FR1 folks (I think that was 2/15?) the lucky ones started getting admit calls? I'm FR2 and we were told we'll find out on or around March 8th... Just uselessly trying to predict when FR2s might start getting calls...

FWIW and according to this thread, FR1 people got acceptances as early as Feb. 8th (a week before the deadline of 2/15). However, in that same Texas1990 post, it said most people were going to hear back the week of the deadline. After researching, I discovered that was indeed the case. GL!

My bad, say the thread getting bumptity bumped up and up and saw people complaining about dings at the top so assumed it was all today. You're right, that was Friday. Using the search function is still a great call IMO.

no worries I know we've called a truce. really, though, I should link boalt to my LSN/TLS profile and they can see how committed I am to attending. I know Berk says on their site that finaid decisions will start rolling out in early March, but I still think we won't hear til the end of March personally. Who knows.

I don't think that's true. A 169/3.9 puts you in a solidly green/yellow zone on the LSN graph. Congrats on the high GPA. I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be a good fit for Berkeley, and you're not rejected until you're rejected. Good luck.
