Re: Berkeley 2010
Call the man! I missed his call and kept ringing until he picked up. It's almost the weekend...if you don't talk to him, you'll be thinking about it. Even if we all know it's good news, you know it'd be nice to hear.

Man this wait is killing me and I just went under review this past Monday. I can't imagine what you all who went under review months ago are going through. Good luck to everyone, hopefully we'll have some good news by next Tuesday (if not later today, my fingers are crossed).

+1 on the crossed fingers. It would be the best xmas present EVER to get the call/email.

In all seriousness, though, I would definitely suggest sending the updated grades if they demonstrate an upward trend. Berkeley tends to place substantial weight upon the GPA. Your school probably "can" send them directly, but you might want to ask Boalt which method they prefer.

Sorry if this has already been asked and answered, but when does Berkeley send out financial aid offers? Not with the original admissions offer, right?

Re: Berkeley 2010
I just spoke with someone in admissions and she told me that if you were already under review, it might not matter because you might get a decision before they ever see it but you should anyway. They want it through LSAC since they'll do all the work in terms of figuring out your LSAC GPA, etc.Mr.Feeny wrote:thanks!managamy wrote:Why don't you wait and ask Dean Tom when he calls you?Mr.Feeny wrote:not to go off topic, but can anyone answer the above question? i couldnt find an answer on their siteMr.Feeny wrote:question: should i send updated fall grades (that raise my gpa)? and if so, do i have to do it through lsac or can my school send it to them directly

He's making calls!!!! I just got mine about an hour ago
I can't believe I am in this early. I thought I had a chance maybe via committee review sometime in March... but never did I think I would get an outright acceptance (with phone call and a flight for ASW!) before Christmas. I am honored.

Haha when he starts to make phone calls I get that same feeling of excitement I get when it starts snowing outside. It's beautiful until I realize he's probably not going to be calling me.

Shaggier was the only acceptance today on LSN, both before his call and after. Looks like that could be it for today.
