So it's true that acceptances are Tuesday only?

That means DLS on any other day is a WL/Ding? Hope I don't hear anything till next week.

Got an e-mail from NYU this morning inviting me to the inaugural conversation, "The Future of Race and Inequality in the United States." I got way too excited thinking it was something about a scholarship :(

like general admissions? I applied to RTK and was admitted to NYU in the first wave back in November (? or was it December?). haven't heard a peep about my RTK status yet, though.

Does anyone have insight concerning the fate of "Held" or "Deferred" NYU applicants?
I can't find anything, so I'm assuming the absolute worst. But why not deny/waitlist us right out of ED? Why defer us just to ding us?

RTK invite! Honestly did not see it coming at all. I've never sounded so rude on the phone in my life-- I thought it was like some recruitment phone call and some children started wreaking havoc around me so I initially asked if I could call back later and she sounded rightfully very annoyed.
