I believe they're on Spring Break this week... Can I just assume I'll be waiting another week for any movement/decisions?

The students are on spring break, but I would wager to bet that the admissions office is still working. It may actually speed things up a little bit because the adcomm won't be teaching any classes. At least that's what I was told when I interviewed for UVA on their spring break (and I got my decision the next day). I'm remaining optimistic!lawyergirl94 wrote:I believe they're on Spring Break this week... Can I just assume I'll be waiting another week for any movement/decisions?

I went UR2 on 3/14. Don't think UR2s this late in the game can lead to acceptance, but hoping Duke will prove me wrong!njkga wrote:I went from UR1 to UR2 yesterday, so I think they're still working.lawyergirl94 wrote:I believe they're on Spring Break this week... Does UR2 generally lead to non-acceptances? I would think them taking the time to go through your app again was a good thing...hopefuljumbo23 wrote:I went UR2 on 3/14. I thought everyone went UR2? Anyway, according to LSN, the last acceptance went out on April 4 last year. So there's hope! I'm hoping to hear back before April 1 though, so I can go to their ASW.gobeers wrote:Does UR2 generally lead to non-acceptances? When, if at all, should I reach out to admissions? I've been UR1 since 2/8. While I'm sure it might not make much of a difference, is it frowned upon to reach out to an admissions officer I've spoken and met with multiple times?

Re: Duke University School of Law C/O 2019 Applicants
If you have supplemental information to add to your application, you can reach out. If you are just going to ask about your status, leave it alone. You will get a decision when you get a decision and bothering adcomms might expedite a negative decision rather than encourage a positive one.lawyergirl94 wrote:When, if at all, should I reach out to admissions?
