I think they had sat. updates early in the cycle when ED people were waiting. Probably means they're busy and trying to hurry up and look at the rest of the apps. Or maybe it means nothing.

FYI, at the ASW, the director of financial aid mentioned that approximately 65% of all merit aid offers have been sent out.

When I visited the staff kept saying Randi and Renee in such a way that they sounded very, very similar and I couldn't tell who they were talking about. I highly suspect that I met with Randi Garnick, but I'm still not 100% sure. To Penn, if you're reading - you guys should use full names! Also, I'd reallllly appreciate some scholarship money, pleassssse.

Edit: But wait... the person I talked to said they were the one who called me. So it must have been Dean Post that I met with?

Edited again: Nope, just googled a picture and it was definitely not Dean Post.

And edited again: this confusion was further exacerbated by the fact that my schedule said I would meet with Dean Post, but then I was told I would meet with Randi Garnick, and when I asked for clarification based upon my schedule the person I was talking with switched to first names, seeming to use Randi and Renee interchangeably (because I was having trouble telling the difference, I suppose).

TL;DR: Conspiracy theory: Randi Garnick and Renee Post are the same person. (Did you guys actually see both of them at the same time at any point during ASW? Think about it.)

I only bothered to read til I saw two people's decisions - both applied RD and were accepted! I'm taking this as a good sign
