Nah, I don't think so. If you've got the numbers you've got a good shot since they're fairly numbers-based and have been letting in january applicants pretty regularly up till now. If you don't have the numbers they're probably just trying to increase their apps, which you probably know.

Interesting. I wish I'd see movement on some of the schools I had applied to in October. NYU was a fresh app after the December score, and I'm surprised at how quickly it went under review.

I submitted my app on Dec. 31, asking them to wait for the Dec. score. I just went UR on 1/20.

I haven't gotten anything from NYU. They never emailed me to confirm receiving my app, and I don't have a status checker account or anything.

When did you submit? They only send out status checkers on tuesday.

Nah, I don't think so. If I remember correctly some of the people from the first submit date didn't hear till March/April last year.

I submitted with a Dec. score on 1/4, and went under review on 1/19.

Hello all! I'm new here, so forgive me for not looking back though 109 pages for an answer. But I applied in the first week of December, received my status checker immediately, but have since seen nothing change (it still says "application being processed). Does this mean it's still incomplete and should I call to see if anything is wrong? I was hoping to hear back soon, but it's looking like I'm in for a long wait...
