Does anyone have any idea when held ED applicants will hear? It would be great to hear before 4/15, but I'm worried that might be wishful thinking at this point.

Complete 1/25, UR 2/16, 2/28. I know it doesn't mean anything but it still feels like a quick turnaround.
Now I'm slowly dying from the inside waiting for a decision.

Re: Penn 2011
1)Do we think the all the offers to apply for named scholarships will be out by Wednesday, or should there be more?
2) Do all offers (named and Dean's) come via e-mail, or are some by snail-mail?
3) Are all the named scholarships invitations to apply, or are some direct offers?
4) Anyone had success negotiating a Dean's scholarship to above the $60k mark?
I want to go to Penn, but I want it to be the financially viable option, and I can be bought. I have received peer school offers that eclipse the Dean's and am scared that's all I am getting at Penn...

So, today's the big day for scholarships? (i.e. the day that determines whether or not I withdraw and wait out the cycle/reconsider law school)
I still can't believe that I may strike out of the entire T14 except for UPENN. Pretty depressing, but today could change a lot.

I'm assuming this scholarship notification is only for people that have already been admitted? Or is this a day people are thinking with be both admits/scholarship notifications? Penn is one of 4 schools I have left to hear back from and I'm dying waiting!niederbomb wrote:So, today's the big day for scholarships? Penn is one of the only schools you HAVEN'T heard back from yet? Lawschoolpredictor is trash. Law school admissions really ARE quite unpredictable.

I'm still waiting on Cornell and UCLA, which are both understandable cuz they are slow as hell. I'm also waiting on Chicago, which makes sense because they're absolutely a reeeach. But I'm confused about why I'm still waiting on Penn when I've heard back from peer schools and as far as I can tell I've got a decent shot. I just want to know!

Eager to hear about money today! Or not, more likely. I certainly won't withdraw straight up if I don't get any, but it will probably influence my decision down the line.
