Sad. I saw the weather warning on the HLS website and was wondering if that might happen.

I'm holding out hope that this actually means good things. The undergrad admissions office closed because they didn't have anything important left to do. HLS JD admissions hasn't tweeted or notified that their office is closed, meaning its presumably still open. It stayed open because they want to do a bunch of JS2 calls before the weekend! Right???

They're not in the same location and while the general admissions page has a closure notice, the jd one doesn't.

We could still be on folks.

+180. I'd do it if I weren't in a meeting that won't be finished until regular close of business.

Or they could punish us for wishing they get snowed in and just get a head start on the files of everyone who submitted on the deadline...

After everything this thread has gone through, this comment finally got me to laugh out loud. At work.

Joining the waiters' party. Complete 11/20, still no JS1. Also in at CCN, which gave me some hope for Harvard!

let us be true
To one another! for the world, which seems
To lie before us like a land of dreams,
So various, so beautiful, so new,
Hath really neither joy, nor love, nor light,
Nor certitude, nor peace, nor help for pain;
And we are here as on a darkling plain
Swept with confused alarms of struggle and flight,
Where ignorant armies clash by night.

I feel like this could have been a decent replacement to Hobbes' introduction for Leviathan. TLS covenant anyone? I nominate Hilde for Sovereign.
