The idea that somebody could potentially apply EA --> deferred to RD --> reserve list --> waitlist --> admit, is ludicrous.

Same here. Man, this has been a bloodbath if I've ever seen one. I've been refreshing my email hoping NOT to get an email from Cornell...Dmini7 wrote:I received another update today (3/8). PR, did you get an update today? If so I would at least feel semi-safe in numbers(especially since yours are basically harvard boundPRgradBYU wrote:Same here. Yeah, I did. My current status date changed to 3/8/2013 earlier today! I'm guessing Cornell's admissions office closes at 5 or 5:30, so we're probably safe for the time being. Seeing all of the reserves on this thread really had me scared. (And we'll see about HLS... I needed to CRUSH it on my JS1, but I feel like it didn't end up being anything special. I'm basically waiting for the ding at this point, haha.)Dmini7 wrote:PR, did you get an update today? Good to know. Cornell makes it really tough for those of us who are interested and would like to visit but need to know about finances first, don't they?ph5354a wrote:Correctdsn32 wrote:So has no one heard back about $$$ yet (outside of the full ride folks)?
Hopefully we'll hear next week:(dsn32 wrote:Good to know. Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

Yeah this seems kind of late to not be releasing anything behind initial full rides. Lavitz went to ASD today and they said they were "working hard on getting awards out" but no timeframe given.dsn32 wrote:Good to know. False. Plenty of people heard back with less than full ride. For example, I was given $120,000. That's about 45k short of full.talesofyore wrote:Hopefully we'll hear next week:(dsn32 wrote:Good to know. Deans scholly invite right? I guess I was using full ride interchangeably with that even though that's not the case.grapefruits wrote: False. Plenty of people heard back with less than full ride. For example, I was given $120,000. That's about 45k short of full.
