Same.

The idea that somebody could potentially apply EA --> deferred to RD --> reserve list --> waitlist --> admit, is ludicrous.

Just got the letter as well. I apologize if this has been reviewed earlier ITT, but could someone please explain to me how reserve differs from WL (if at all)? Thanks

I received another update today (3/8). Seeing everyone go on reserve is freaking me out. Are WL/Reserve/Ding through email and acceptances by snail mail? I ask because I won't be at my current address for the next week for spring break ._. The anxiety is killing me! haha

Is reserve essentially waitlist? The way someone described it, it sounds like it. So basically you guys are waitlisted. I wonder how this will go for Cornell, the jacking up of tuition, little fin aid and so many waitlisted people that should've gotten in

Same here. Man, this has been a bloodbath if I've ever seen one. I've been refreshing my email hoping NOT to get an email from Cornell...

PR, did you get an update today? If so I would at least feel semi-safe in numbers(especially since yours are basically harvard bound :D)

Yeah, I did. My current status date changed to 3/8/2013 earlier today! I'm guessing Cornell's admissions office closes at 5 or 5:30, so we're probably safe for the time being. Seeing all of the reserves on this thread really had me scared. (And we'll see about HLS... I needed to CRUSH it on my JS1, but I feel like it didn't end up being anything special. I'm basically waiting for the ding at this point, haha.)

Good to know. Cornell makes it really tough for those of us who are interested and would like to visit but need to know about finances first, don't they?

Yeah this seems kind of late to not be releasing anything behind initial full rides. Lavitz went to ASD today and they said they were "working hard on getting awards out" but no timeframe given.

Put on reserve today. Surprised, since I was really expecting to get dinged.

False. Plenty of people heard back with less than full ride. For example, I was given $120,000. That's about 45k short of full.

Deans scholly invite right? I guess I was using full ride interchangeably with that even though that's not the case.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
