So I e-mailed Stanford admissions yesterday to ask about adding something to my file(part of my new technique of just annoying them until they give up and let me in). As part of their response they included, "Please have this submitted as soon as possible." Sign that movement is coming soon?? probably not...

If I may ask. What did you want to submit? updated resume? I have another LOR that I like to submit (I already submitted 4), but since they do not take more than 4 from LSAC, I'm afraid to ask.

Yikes! Sorry to hear about the DLS. >.> I'm 11/29 so maybe today is my day as well. Then again, I just sent an extra LOR so maybe that will delay my inevitable ding for a few more days.

Got my status checker from stanford yesterday, noticed they didn't have the dean's cert. Stopped by the registrar's office and it was still there, dated 2 weeks ago, unsent. They sent it today after I stopped by. My question is this: if we pretend that we live in a world where I have a snowball's chance in hell at getting in in the first place, how much does this adversely affect my chances?

I don't think they should blame your school for not sending out the cert. You dated the form right? That should at least show you did it early enough. But I don't know how these things work... I think you are ok, as long as they get it before getting to your file.

pretty much the same thing happened to me. Sent in my application (January 7/8), gave dean my cert in late december. Show up in office on Feb 1; she still hadnt filled it out. She faxed it in on Feb 4 and I was accepted yesterday

No clue, but I would say sitting without a DLS is not a bad place to be, and it sure beats the alternative.

3-5 days. If you don't hear back by next Friday then call.

Although, you are probably better off doing a LSAC update, then all schools get it.

Took 2 business days for me to get an email confirmation (not including the day I sent it in).
