It has brought me more joy than my call from UT this morning lol.

Congrats to all those who are getting replies!

I just sent in my application this week (had to wait on December LSAT score). I've gone from not really knowing about Michigan to loving it and it's one of my top two choices (the other is Northwestern). So here's to hoping for good news two months from now!

Reading other posts on this forum, sounds like the first email comes after two weeks to a month? Wow - that's sloooooow.

Nope, I check the admitted student site daily but at this point I am just waiting for them to send out the first wave of waitlists so I know my fate is sealed.

yeah...it seems they're leaving us for last, kind of like the cornell EA deferrals. with so many spots offered by then, we're probably doomed to WL/reject.

i already wrote a 'Why Mich' so i'm not really sure what i can add. Were you two above 75ths/medians?
I guess chance of money = 0 ...

and i can't see myself choosing the frigid ann arbor winter without financial incentive. this is so sad. i liked the idea of wolverines

I wrote a Why Michigan too, but I am thinking of adding an additional 1 page essay from their list of options.

I am a traditional splitter, above LSAT 75 and below GPA 25. I don't think that hope for a dean's scholarship is lost, they tend to give them to everyone within a numbers band (look on LSN).
