In! Oh man, this is amazing. I'm still at work but my girlfriend checked the mail and called to tell me that there was a big purple envelope in it. I can't wait to get home and hold it in my hands.

yes. also, as pretty as these purple envelopes sound, wouldn't e-mail be a far more eco-friendly and expedient way to transmit 2 pieces of paper and a bit of good news??

I have similar but slightly lower numbers than you. Maybe its the multiple lsats thats hurting us (although this didn't seem to make a difference last year..)

Yea it has to be it. They are trying to remember how to calculate average before they can let us in.

I have two LSATs too.

I know at least of a few people last year that got in with no addendums at NYU whose averages were a little too low for NYU. Hopefully we can be those people this year!

My average is a 176... so that's still high enough. I also hear if there's a 6 point or greater difference, they only look at the higher one... I'm hoping my decision is delayed b.c. they didn't get my second LSAT score till mid Nov.

MY MAILMAN STILL HASN'T COME!!!!!!! They always come at 1, and today of all days they're not here. There's actually been several days this past month in which there has mysteriously been no mail for a couple days in a row, not even junk...I'm starting to suspect that the mailman assigned to my street does not always do his job.

I would report him to the postmaster general. That sucks so much.

I think you'll be good though if your average itself is that high. Yeah they probably didn't look at your app till they got the second score.

Just got home and it's official. No mail today. Either my mailman really is effed up or my letter is different than everyone else's - as in not an acceptance - so it's taking longer to get here. Also my roommates just said they don't get what it matters if I got it today or tomorrow.
