Nope - there's a lag before they get your credentials set up in ASW. I can't remember exactly, but I'd estimate that I saw DLS around 9:30am and, after checking periodically, I could eventually access ASW around 10:30am.Dickensian wrote:Hi! New poster here. My status checker changed to DLS this morning. I haven't received an email ding, but the admitted students website isn't working for me at this point. Can I presume that I've been rejected? My stats are 169, 4.13 if that's helpful.

No problem. Actually I'm a little fuzzy on my UR dates, but I will do my best to estimate. I took the Feb 2016 LSAT, so I think I went complete early March. I was UR1 very quickly, around the 5th or so, UR2 the 10th, UR3 yesterday, and then DLS today.

It's my understanding that they don't consider Febraury LSAT scores in the same admission cycle. Am I wrong?

They say they don't, but when I emailed them about it they said as long as my other information was in on time my application would be considered*.
*Edit: at a disadvantage because of applying late.

Hi all, my application went UR1 on Feb. 1 and there's been no update since... Anyone else in a similar situation or have heard back already? Wondering what the hold up is...

UR1 since 11/17, received a "we didn't forget you letter" in feb, promptly re-forgotten. At this point the only thing stopping me from withdrawing my app in light of other acceptances/$ I've gotten is the fact that I'm from NY and eventually want to return to practice IP/Patent law in the city, and NYU is really unparalleled in that regard.mepsi2577 wrote:Hi all, my application went UR1 on Feb. 1 and there's been no update since... Still, frustrating they don't ask to put you on a wait-list, they just effectively do it, and decide to do it formally at the last possible second. At least Penn came out and told me I was waitlisted in December.

A friendly reminder of the search button at the top of each page
FAQ:
I'm still waiting. is anyone else still waiting? My UR date is [blank]
- Yes. Some of us have been waiting since November. The current winner is James K. Polk, who applied September 1. I've personally been waiting since 12/8. If you've been waiting since before mid January you should have gotten a 'we didn't forget about you' email. Yes, some of us (hi) who got that email are still waiting. No, you did not get one if you applied later.
My UR date changed? What does it mean?
-Someone looked at your application. It means literally nothing until DLS.
I am DLS but no email. I can log into the ASW. am I in?
- yes. go join the class of NYU thread. Congratulations!
I am DLS but no email. I cannot log into the ASW. am I in?
- wait a bit (a day, people, not just a few hours) and try again (or try again incessantly for a day, idrc). If still no dice, call or email them because you should have gotten an email with your decision.

Haha. Great summary. Very sorry if I annoyed you with my UR date change post -- mostly I was wondering if any fellow October/November applicants have been getting new UR dates, given that our applications seem to have been put to the side for four or five months.
Thanks, sorry again.
