Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
There are many spots for next wednesday-friday, and the following tuesday and wednesday.
I expect, with no interviews scheduled for early next week, that there will be another round of JS2s then.
Then again, who knows!

How do you figure? It's not like they were ever going to be anywhere close to done with JS1's at this point.LSCHI wrote:There are a ton of interview slots up. Looks like a big JS1 wave is coming soon. That doesn't necessarily bode well for JS2 hopefuls...

It stands to reason that with so many interview slots to fill that they will be busy deciding who to interview.Nathanael wrote:How do you figure? Ah, I thought you were referring to acceptance chances not wait prospects. Even then, I would assume JS1s will go out today or tomorrow, we might still see JS2's on Monday or Tuesday.LSCHI wrote:It stands to reason that with so many interview slots to fill that they will be busy deciding who to interview.Nathanael wrote:How do you figure? bottom line is, they're nowhere near done interviewing or admitting people. it's tough to resist imputing meaning at every turn, but we simply can't know what they're thinking.
lots more waiting to do, everyone!

Hello. Is there a way to determine who at Harvard will be conducting our video-conference interview? Thanks.

That's a sizeable chunk of available slots! Looks like we'll see a JS1 wave tomorrow.LSCHI wrote:I count 77 on 28th, 29th, 30th and 3rd, 4th, and 5thAuxilio wrote:There was a large number reported on the 28th/29th a while ago.w0w wrote:Like....how many? And which dates please!!!!

How long does it usually take to go from application received to complete? Mine has been application received for almost two weeks now. Is that normal?

Spreadsheet says 10 days. That said, I still haven't gone complete and I applied 1/8. Given the JS2 wave from earlier this week and the possible JS1 wave tomorrow, I'm not surprised it's taking longer now, though.

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
that's probably true, that ppl are holding out to decide before joining the group, but that's always (this yr and when i applied last yr) struck me as a lil odd. wouldn't you want access to that convenient facebook network of brilliant peers? like i wouldn't think to myself "im going to columbia with a hamilton, so i don't want to be in this group of harvard kids"jemthey17 wrote:I do agree that there are a lot of JS2s to go, but since you have to request to join the group, this is probably not indicative of how many JS2s they have given out. I suspect lots of people are holding off until they make their decision.Hat.trick wrote:There are only 106 people in the FB group so they still have a lot of JS2s to go

I haven't joined because my decision to go to law school isn't public yet...I imagine there are several others in the same boat

My decision is generally public, but I still don't exactly want "LetsGoMets joined the group XYZ Law School Class of 2018" showing up on friends' newsfeeds just yet.ChemEng1642 wrote:I haven't joined because my decision to go to law school isn't public yet...I imagine there are several others in the same boat

Anyone know if the week 13 and 14 interview slots are for people already offered JS1s or do we think there's a wave coming out soon?
