I'm sure this isn't a revolutionary idea, but including the short video option has proved to be a great idea. It's like a status-checker within the status-checker. It's a private link, and you can keep count of how many views your video gets.

+1. Any predictions for emails versus letters between now and the 2/28 deadline for held applicants?

I had a 2/21 update and escaped a WL email...I feel like it's going to go down as either (1) letter today or tomorrow or (2) auto-email on Friday late-afternoon.

Did you receive correspondence from GULC that your application was "held", or have you just assumed that? I haven't heard a thing, so I have no idea if the 2/28 deadline will mean anything for me or for any of us.

Well my app wasn't held. I applied on 2/5. I have no idea what is going on.

For us Held applicants

Optimistically -- Logically, it wouldn't make sense to make any more decisions this week if they were looking to get our decisions to us by the hard-date of the 28th. Additionally, if you look at the past acceptances so far, almost all have a postage date of a week prior, meaning I'd wager they sent out letters on Friday during the great WL massacre.

Pessimistically -- No hard-evidence for pessimism at this time.

Sadly -- all it takes is a sudden WL email in an inbox to change that, but so far I haven't seen anything further.

Moving forward -- we're going to have to hold on tight and make eye contact with the mail man every day this week.

EDIT: Seoulless wasn't held... therefore further affirming the optimistic viewpoint

I applied on 2/09 and have had status updates at 2/12 and now 2/21. I'm not sure if I had any in between those but I don't think I did. Historically what would this mean and how long would I have to wait to hear about acceptance, WL or ding? Also for stats I have a 3.71 and 170 LSAT

Not sure what effect applying late will have but I have similar stats and my timeline was, UR1 1/8, interview invite 1/28, interview 2/10, in via ASW login info request 2/18.

Just had another status update today.

Login Recieved 1/29

First update: 2/3 (this is what I have in my notes buy im pretty sure I posted it was 2/6 in this thread, im getting confused with all these school apps and updates.)

Second Update: 2/12

Third update: 2/25

FYI I applied binding decision and they claim that if you do so they mail your decision within 3 weeks. If you go complete after Feb 1 (which Im assuming I did, cant quite remember) they cannot guaranteed the 3 week decision deadline but try to adhere to it. As of today I am right around the 3 week limit. Gods give me strength.

There was an onslaught of waitlists and rejections last week. I'm still waiting...not very patiently though
