Doesn't Chicago have an April 15th deposit deadline? Are we expecting some movement this week?

IIRC, the last decision wave was on a Wednesday. I really hope they let us know tomorrow, and don't drag until April 30.

for those of us approaching deadlines, how does late game negotiation work? Do we just have to pay like four deposit fees and then negotiate after?

Re: Chicago c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014)
My analysis: I think those of us with March interviews will be accepted or wait-listed (for the most part). Then I think there will be a wait-list/rejection crowd around May 1. But I admit that it's getting very late to receive unqualified offers of admission from Chicago. Historically Chicago hasn't typically admitted people this late except from the wait-list. So this would be an unusual year for Chicago.

Any thoughts on how full the class is currently, compared to previous years?

Gah this is so frustrating. No one from the march interview wave has heard back yet, right?

I think ASW this year had a turnout of about 250, which iirc is similar to last year's turnout (too lazy to dig through old posts to check for sure). I know last year was like the biggest turnout ever, and there was still some late RD and WL movement (though not much compared to previous years).oyvey35 wrote:Any thoughts on how full the class is currently, compared to previous years?

Dean Schill said they're shooting for a class size of 190. I don't know how close they are to that goal right now, but that's the objective.

Last year the target was 185 and we ended up with 196Ricky-Bobby wrote:Dean Schill said they're shooting for a class size of 190. I don't know how close they are to that goal right now, but that's the objective.

wishful thinking: maybe they were waiting to see how many rubies withdrew so they could give them to us instead?

And me. I am UR again today, though. My first one was in March. Has anyone gotten an interview request with 2 URs? Or does this mean I'm SOL?ZGr88n wrote:This guyaboutmydaylight wrote:Anyone still UR without an interview? Seems kinda late to be in limbo...

I am the same as the above post:
UR 1 3/20
UR 2 4/15
I think this means something bad.
