My advice is stop trying to find some secret way of knowing. You WILL find out soon enough, instead of spending time worrying and investigating, go grab a beer or something.TMO123 wrote:Ah, yes, I see. I wasn't sure if he was absolutely certain.
Just trying to double-check.

With page after page of this thread devoted to the question of which batch applicants' letters are in --
I'm hardly alone in my inquiries.
My apologies if my queries are offensive to you.

Lmao, my facebook was deactivated when I was admitted (long story lol) and I forgot I never told a lot of people, so when I threw up the status yesterday I got a bunch of texts and messages telling me to go! I postponed until Tuesday, trying to get my lady friend to accompany me.Barbie wrote:Hey- shouldnt you be in Gainesville changing your mind?FeelTheHeat wrote:+1Barbie wrote:My advice is stop trying to find some secret way of knowing. I don't remember how much you got, but 20-30k is going to be so minimal in the future-- if you give up a sincerely better school for your goals over it you deserve FSUFeelTheHeat wrote:Lmao, my facebook was deactivated when I was admitted (long story lol) and I forgot I never told a lot of people, so when I threw up the status yesterday I got a bunch of texts and messages telling me to go! Yay, I got the email acknowledging that the adcom received my application. Filled out and submitted the residency form today.
To those who have received correspondence, and who have a different Permanent Address versus Current Address, did they send your letters to the Permanent Address, or your Current Address?

Ok, important question.
How is the golf? How expensive is the UF golf course for students?

Students get a discount, I think the price varies, but I want to say it is usually in the ballpark of 25 dollars. The course is beautiful, not extremely difficult, pretty wide open for the most part. It's not the only course in Gainesville either, there are probably 4 or 5 within a reasonable distance, most are cheaper than the UF course, but, none are as nice. The UF course is probably among the best courses I've ever played on.FeelTheHeat wrote:Ok, important question.

25 is goddamn cheap compared to what I'm used to in south Florida lol...Osprey Ridge is Disney was downright stunning when I played it at 7:30 in the morning. I enjoy courses that are tucked away a bit and don't have a million houses riding along the fairways. That is how everything is in south Florida.mistergoft wrote:Students get a discount, I think the price varies, but I want to say it is usually in the ballpark of 25 dollars. Did anybody who had letter sent yesterday 3/24 receive their decision in the mail today? I know 1 day is a highly unlikely turn around but some of us, like myself live in gainesville.

Going to Accepted Student's Day April 15th, wondering how it was at the previous ones? Was it worth going?

Ok yesterday my status changed to LIT. I know it will take at least 5 days to receive the letter but does anyone know the style in which UF accepts, wait-list, and denies applicants? I know I am being impatient but I really want to know. My stats are ugpa 3.0 in Bioengineering, masters gpa 3.56 molecular medicine, LSAT 161, ok softs like president/founder of club, volunteering and all that stuff. I highly doubt that I will be accepted considering the fact that everyone who seems to get in has above a 3.5 undergrad gpa and major difficulty doesn't really play a huge part in the cycle.

Also, looking on LSN everyone else that had their status changed to LIT on Thurs have horrible numbers. So, I am wondering if there is any truth to "UF sends rejects out on one day, accepts on another, and WL on another?

Seriously, that's a tough choice. You got a difficult decision to make, albeit one many would love to have.
