Ugh I just had a thought. What if they wait until after business hours to email like LSAC so they don't have to deal with hysterical people flooding the office with phone calls?

They don't use an automated email system to send stuff like that. If they did I might go apeshit!

Yeah, same here. Despite me being a polyglot from an exotic country who has tons of strong extracurricular aspects, I think Gtown doesn't give a tiny rats arse about me unless I can raise their median- which I CANNOT... I can feel it in my bones, I'm out.

Where is your optimism SanBun??? Just a day ago you were giving me a pep talk!!!!! We have a chance, a lot of people who already got in had high LSATs/low gpas, they gotta bring up the gpa somehow if your theory is right!! Chin up!

No and I'm still positive about the WHOLE thing, as in I think many people will be happy about their 12/1 acceptances soon, just don't think I will be one of them. but you're right, maybe we ought to be even more optimistic. Hey, we might all get in from the 12/1 bacth

Yeah, they're not waiting three days to press send on the rejection e-mail....snail mail just takes a while for our acceptances! Here's to 12/01!

I'm just posting to remind myself that I'm not going to get in and I need to stop deluding myself.

However, since I was worth an interview (therefore not auto-reject) I will say I'm likely to get a WL. If the stats posted a couple weeks ago are correct, then more than 90% of interviewees get accepted or waitlisted.

well if they send it out tomorrow for those that are rejected, then that makes sense- send it on a friday so ppl have time to calm down over the weekend and won't call immediately

but I'm sure there will also be acceptances so who knows whether any of us will receive the dreaded e-mail

I think it's probably half half

EDIT: and yes, I think GULC is the type of school who would potentially send out a number of denials early on to clear their applications, especially since they receive the most out of any school

I think it took longer than two days for the people close to DC to get their mail this cycle...I hope. Maybe their goal is to get us all worked up so that we feel like Georgetown is the ONLY place in town.....then when we get the acceptance we are so relieved we immediately withdraw applications everywhere else out of sheer gratefulness.

Or maybe we all suck.
