you might be accepted. so who knows. but that 166 barrier is a big deal to USC. one more point...eru2 wrote:yea, I have had good offers so far from schools. sibley has a 170 LSAT so you never know and she went same DF as you. usually (not always) the batches are all the same decisions.eru2 wrote: i am basically trying to convince myself i have a glimmer of hope here. its not really working. oh well.

In review for about 10 weeks and it's killing me! I'd like to coordinate my law school visits so it'd be nice if they would get back to me so I can buy tickets and decide if LA is on the itinerary.

Re: USC 2010!
It seems silly to have such a stark barrier at 166, given that we're talking about median LSATs and not mean LSATs. Their median will still be 167 if they let in a few 166s (in addition to the URM acceptances). Best of luck to those who went DF today!!finalaspects wrote:you might be accepted. so who knows. but that 166 barrier is a big deal to USC. one more point...eru2 wrote:yea, I have had good offers so far from schools. maybe they're trying to raise their medians? or their 25% number?OneKnight wrote: It seems silly to have such a stark barrier at 166, given that we're talking about median LSATs and not mean LSATs. Re: USC 2010!
i think they need splitters one way or another and have so far either rejected or waitlisted them all. im rooting for you. maybe you can take solace in the fact that i wasn't part of the DF group with my low stats....sibley wrote:my gpa's low thoughfinalaspects wrote:sibley has a 170 LSAT so you never know and she went same DF as you. usually (not always) the batches are all the same decisions.eru2 wrote: i am basically trying to convince myself i have a glimmer of hope here. its not really working. oh well.

Not SC worthy. 3.6/163. I'm sure it's a rejection.sibley wrote:#s?nol607 wrote:Decision Finalized 3/31.

Possibly. It would be hilarious if their 25/50/75 were all 167!finalaspects wrote:maybe they're trying to raise their medians? or their 25% number?OneKnight wrote: It seems silly to have such a stark barrier at 166, given that we're talking about median LSATs and not mean LSATs. This is NOT looking good, everyone here that went DF has a below 3.5 GPA and sup par LSAT (mine is 169, but in general, you all have 167 and below).
We're fucked!!!

Re: USC 2010!
Just from experience, when I get dinged at Georgetown, I was DF right exactly when 4 others who got dinged with me were:(.
I hope I'm wrong, but oh well.

Re: USC 2010!
its not over until the fat lady sings, or in this case brings the mail. they need splitters and reverse splitters as well as needing people who have under median LSAT. their 25% was not 167 so have hope!GermX wrote:This is NOT looking good, everyone here that went DF has a below 3.5 GPA and sup par LSAT (mine is 169, but in general, you all have 167 and below).

but i just don't get it. the 2 splitters with 170LSAT has higher LSAT and GPA than me, and i have no DF yet!!! seriously wtf. i applied in oct and been in review since mid-janurary. this is ludicrous. maybe you guys are an acceptance batch which would make sense on why im still waiting.

DF 3/31. Both GPA and LSAT wayyy below median. Sorry guys. I would give my first born child to be in LA at SC this fall. Anywhere but Pitt.
