Re: Columbia 2010
FWIW, I think it probably has more to do with whether or not your address is close to an airport that USPS uses. Clearly the letters have all been shipped to the proper states / closest airports. So the people who live close enough to the airport that they only needed one day to get from there to the address got them today. If not, you might have to wait a day or two.
Just a guess, but it's a logical guess.

Sorry if this has already been covered, but for those accepted by USPS, does the status checker change to some form of DR before notification, or does it just stay at complete?

Congrats Laina! What's the early word on SLS v. CLS?Laina wrote:In!!!! I'm in SoCal. Yay!!
Also, what day is the packet postmarked? I'm in NorCal and didn't get anything today but I get my mail at like 10:30 am so it's possible it could be delayed a day. That said, I don't expect to get into CLS anyway so who knows.

Re: Columbia 2010
It's very very difficult to turn down CLS (I really love NYC), so I think it'll come down to a combination of $$ and ASW for me. Definitely leaning toward SLS at the moment, though.
I don't have the envelope in front of me, so I can't tell you the postmark date, sorry. But I do remember the letter itself was dated 1/22. My NYU letter was also mailed on Fri, arrived on Mon, so maybe I just have a super efficient NYC --> SoCal mail route. Good luck!

Anyone know if the Butlers are targeted towards PI type people, or if they are mostly number based?

My parents in the DC area of Maryland still haven't gotten anything. Went complete 12/21. I hope it comes tomorrow, but if it doesn't I'll take it as a sign that they might be considering whether to give me a Hamilton, heh. Still with no JR1 email yet, it would be nice to get some good news.

Anybody in the Southeast receive acceptances today? Is it possible that geographical (and cultural) discrimination against the South has once again left the South behind?! Oh, and congrats on acceptances, y'all!
