It's a hell of a form. To my knowledge it's only for the institution's use; the federal government only looks at FAFSAcoldmonkey13 wrote:earthabides wrote:As a non-citizen you should still be filling out Need Access btwcoldmonkey13 wrote:Ah okay, I was confused because as a non-citizen, I'm not eligible for Need access etc. so I'm not well versed in it.urbanist11 wrote:Your financial aid package, which can be composed of any combination of merit, need, and loans. Yeah everything I've seen told me that as an international student I need to fill it out. I filled it out back in early Feb. I know that specifically UVA wants international students to fill it out because they ask for international students to send their needaccess.org application number instead of SINcoldmonkey13 wrote:earthabides wrote:As a non-citizen you should still be filling out Need Access btwcoldmonkey13 wrote:Ah okay, I was confused because as a non-citizen, I'm not eligible for Need access etc. so I'm not well versed in it.urbanist11 wrote:Your financial aid package, which can be composed of any combination of merit, need, and loans. Has anyone gotten an interview request after going UR2? I went UR1 on 1/19 and UR2 today. Looking back through the thread, it seems most interviews came from UR1.
Trying to stay optimistic.

IIRC, I got an interview request on UR2 back in November. I eventually got in hours after my interview, so definitely stay optimistic.Navyhornguy wrote:Has anyone gotten an interview request after going UR2? I went UR1 on 1/19 and UR2 today. +180. I've been under review since 11/12 and finally got my Michigan waitlist today, only have UVA and NYU left to hear from.thelincolnlawyer wrote:Still UR3 since 9/16. WTF UVA just reject me already.

I'm in the same boat, 9/16. It's pretty obnoxious to hear nothing for 5 months. At least nyu and Michigan sent letters telling us we aren't forgotten. UVA is killing methelincolnlawyer wrote:Still UR3 since 9/16. WTF UVA just reject me already.

Has anyone who interviewed with Jason Dugas heard anything back yet?

A month in ur2 purgatory. Hopes and dreams becoming bleak. Suddenly, a hand of light extends itself - a Virginia area code appears on my telephone. I answer, ready to rejoice. But alas, it is Liberty University. Squanderer of dreams, bastion of disappointment. Love you Liberty.

Also interested in this. Also wondering if anyone out there was asked to interview with Dugas and subsequently got WL'ed/Dinged.derived813 wrote:Has anyone who interviewed with Jason Dugas heard anything back yet?

Can someone tell me more about admitted students weekend? What do you do? Should I come alone? Could I bring my 17 year old son? If I pay for him of course. When is it? Thanks!

It's March 17 and 18. You mostly meet other prospective classmates and then see what the law school is like. Here is the tentative schedule for the weekend http://www.law.virginia.edu/html/admiss ... vedate.htmNolachicken wrote:Can someone tell me more about admitted students weekend? What do you do? I probably wouldn't recommend bringing your son because it doesn't sound like there will be much for him to do.

Then again, if you trust him to go out alone he can hang out and enjoy the city while youre doing law school stuff (some forums dont allow non-students).lawandorder2019 wrote:It's March 17 and 18. I interviewed with Dugas earlier in the week and he mentioned that since he wasn't part of the admissions committee he needed to draft up a report and send it over before they could make a final decision. It's just speculation on my part - but it sounded like the process may take a couple of days.gazorpazorp wrote:Also interested in this. I submitted my application 1/16, received interview invite 2/11, and interviewed 2/16. Don't remember when application went complete but I received status checker email 1/18.Navyhornguy wrote:Do any of you guys mind sharing when you submitted/went complete and when you got the interview invite?wareagle11 wrote:I interviewed with Dugas earlier in the week and he mentioned that since he wasn't part of the admissions committee he needed to draft up a report and send it over before they could make a final decision. Re: UVA c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
been under review for nearly 10 weeks now. UVA is a reach with my numbers but the fact that I haven't been dinged yet has me thinking... Anything I can do to help my cause at this point? Sent in a Why UVA last week. Thanks for any advice!
