The exact same thing happened to me! Now I feel less special

haha. These schools are driving me insane.
Maybe it's a way of keeping our future lawyers' big egos in check...

Any idea what such a long wait means? Also, anyone interview the week of March 17? I can only assume they're really hung up on the remaining applicants

Yup. I interviewed then. Did you get a status date change last week?

Yeah got one last week on 4/3. Don't know he the interview went, but it was mostly positive and probably my only chance to get in. Best of luck to you. I hope we all get in--seems like a great place to endure the misery of law school.

I agree. Thought my interview was pretty positive too, which is why I am really hoping to hear some good news. I wish someone would chime in as to why there was a status date change but no decisions. WTF?

Yeah, I also interviewed that week. And also thought it went pretty well. The wait since then seems like FOREVER though. I feel like it's really coming down to decision time, and I'd like to know whether Chicago will be one of my choices. I guess this is what I get for submitting kinda late (early jan).

i submitted late January and am feeling the same as you. I shot a message out to 2014, the resident Chicago expert. Hopefully he has some insight.

The longer the wait the worse my interview replays become!

No. I am going to be pissed as I will be on the bus for NYU asw though I held out for Chicago. It would be cruel for them to release decisions tomorrow (assuming of course they are positive).

ASW starts tomorrow. I'd be surprised if there were any more decisions this week.

good point. I guess they're waiting until post-ASW and for people to withdraw to finish up with decisions. Goddammit I don't want to double deposit hurry up chicago

Not to be dense, but...the Chicago waitlist letter gives the option of sending in an extra essay, basically a "Why Chicago." Would it be considered not following directions if I send in a typical LOCI formatted as a letter?

No problem. Why listen to the directions of the people who have the power to admit you?

Really? Chicago specifically acts not to send an LOCI?

Perhaps decisions this afternoon?
Maybe we should start a count of who is still waiting to hear back after interview. Because we've all seen the wonderful effects forum applicant counting can have on the emotional health of applicants

are you part of the 4/3 date change? There were ten or so people with late march interviews who all changed then

Yep. I also had a friend interview the day before me who had the same thing.
Really hoping decisions come out soon before I get too wed to my other choices.

Does anyone have some sense of how those who have interviewed late have historically fared? My understanding is that Chicago was one of the schools that was really big on playing a rolling admissions game - earlier actually meant better.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
