How does one get a JS1? It says my app is complete. Do I simply get an email notification informing me about it?

HLS (Dean Soban) just sent out an email to all December registered takers that they are extending the deadline to March 1, and accepting Feb scores for first-time takers. Don't think they've done this before.

I know, but do you think they would extend it if they already felt they were basically on pace to fill the class in an acceptable fashion (this isn't rhetorical by the way )? I don't think weather really affected that many people.

That's what I'm thinking. But it's probably just wishful thinking on my part. I am biased

If that's the case then why only first-time february takers? That makes it seem like they actually are giving people affected by weather a break

Do they already accept February for people who took earlier tests? So for instance in the past, if you submitted before the Feb 1 deadline and had taken December, but then also said you were going to take February as well, would they have waited to review your app?

The first headline statement makes me think they are only allowing February scores if it was your first time taking the exam. But clearly she didn't mean that by her second statement.

Well the people who missed because of weather could have been retaking in December when they missed because of the weather. How many people actually missed the LSAT though? The weather excuse is pretty thin though.

I agree. I just don't see an in situation like HLS changing the deadline and actively encouraging people to take the Feb test, and actively encouraging people to submit even if they still plan to take Feb, unless they need apps. There were not that many people affected by weather. And as you point out, even if they were, they will still take a makeup test and be a part of the December administration.

It's just too coincidental that this lines up with the day we get bandwidth data. Not to mention the delayed JS2's, and the fact that 170+ test takers are down again.

I think I answered the questions well - I just always feel so uncomfortable looking at the computer camera instead of at the screen. I wish it were possible for them to do the interview IRL :/
