Re: USC c/o 2016 Applicants
I still haven't received any notice from USC on what my status is, despite the decision being finalized several days ago. They have tell me by Wednesday, since that's the seat deposit deadline.
I've read several messages from people taking about video interviews. Since there is a possibility I'll be waitlisted, what does this involve? And what's the deadline?

For those of us who still haven't received a decision, does USC have to give us one by the May 1st deadline (and will we get an extension)? If not, what is the likelihood that they will?

you'll get an extension if you're accepted or WL'd after the 1st.thatgumyoulike wrote:For those of us who still haven't received a decision, does USC have to give us one by the May 1st deadline (and will we get an extension)? If not, what is the likelihood that they will?

Yeah hopefully they have some sort of admitted student function for people who get in after 5/1. It sounds like a ton of us are in that boat. I doubt I'd seriously consider the school unless there was a visit planned to meet with faculty, career services, and alums. The website certainly isn't enough to make an informed decision.

I just don't understand how I'm still on CR2 after submitting in late November and with pretty solidly median numbers.
Just expected an answer by now....

Final Review as of 4/28/13. Admissions office works on Sunday? Skipped CR2 after being on CR1 for 4 weeks. Not sure what to expect...

Re: USC c/o 2016 Applicants
Well, I received a letter in the mail from USC. I think I've been rejected, although the letter was strangely vague about the whole thing (no "We regret to inform you..." or other direct indicators of rejection). Well, good luck to everyone who got waitlisted/accepted!

I submitted early December. I should just throw in the towel.

I'm sure they put the 28th as a typo. I can't imagine this cast of characters doing any work on the weekends.darkforg wrote:Final Review as of 4/28/13. Admissions office works on Sunday? Skipped CR2 after being on CR1 for 4 weeks. Not sure what to expect...

did anyone go to the law day? I really would like to know how it was. I am hoping it was not bad, but it seems everyone has given up on this thread, so I am worried they were all turned off by the law day.

Law Day was excellent. Very professional, classy, and gave great insight into the different clinics and journals available at USC. They spoke about the Trojan network around 100 times because they pride themselves on giving back to the Gould and USC communities. I met a few TLSers who were equally impressed and I can't wait to start at USC in the fall!

Re: USC c/o 2016 Applicants
most people who went were the people who were accepted and have already decided if they will go to USC or elsewhere. All you have here is a few waitlisters and those who have not heard. At this point thread is becoming useless. the facebook will replace this and a there is a quite a few that have been committing in the last week or so there..Dmini7 wrote:did anyone go to the law day? 3. Dean Rasmussen has swag.
4. Lunch was delicious.

I was wondering if this would be mentionedJonathk1 wrote: 2. Someone is interested in video games.

For those who already attended campus events, it was basically the same stuff but more in-depth; we received additional details on the usc law journals & moot court, public interest opportunities, a mock law class (Prof Armour was wayyyy awesome) for those of us that didn't sign up for a classroom visit, etc. Couldn't be happier with my decision to commit to Gould!

Reporting from an anonymous source. All remaining admissions decisions will be made within the next week. This does not apply to wait list folks only those that have not heard a decision. I feel like Tim Kurkjian.
